The sighting from Identifier should appear in SmartVis Face Server approximately 3 to 10 seconds after the sighting has been finished by Identifier. The sighting can be finished in one of two ways.
The subject has left the scene in video stream. In this case the sighting is dispatched immediately.
The MaxLength of detections for that sighting has been reached. This can happen when the subject is remaining in the camera field of view for a prolonged period of time.
By default the MaxLength is 300. As Identifier approximately processes 8 frames-per-second, this represents approximately 40 seconds. So the sighting for a subject entering the scene may not appear until 40 to 50 seconds in SmartVis Face.
You can reduce this time by setting the MaxLength to a smaller number in the SmartVis Identifier configuration file. However, this will increase the number of sightings held for that subject locally and in the UI display, unless you have the MergeSightings setting set to true.
